Terms of Use

By downloading or using Snag List ("the app"), provided by East River Software LLC, you agree to these terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own inspection/audit work, subject to these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.
2. Your responsibility for reports (important)
Snag List assists you in capturing observations and generating reports. It uses AI to transcribe speech and structure notes, and AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every report before relying on it or sharing it with a client. The app is a documentation aid, not a substitute for professional judgment, code compliance, or a licensed inspection where one is required.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use the app to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or disrupt the service.
4. Subscriptions
the Pro plan is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited audits, watermark-free PDF reports, and custom report branding. It is offered in the following plans:

The price is displayed in your local currency in the app before you purchase and may vary by region. The free trial applies to new subscribers who have not previously used it.
How the subscription works:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel anytime: open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions → Snag List. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the current period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
By subscribing you also agree to the Apple Media Services Terms, which govern App Store purchases. Privacy is covered in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your content and privacy
Your audits, photos, and reports are yours. They are stored on your device; we don't claim ownership of them and we don't receive them. We collect only anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, East River Software LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made or reports produced using the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Termination
You may stop using the app anytime. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
